She had started to pen and compose solo trackspostthe band Garbage went into a brief hiatus,after which in the year 2008, Shirley Manson was roped into her first full-fledged acting prospectduring the second and final season of the movie Terminator: The Sarah Connor Chronicles as well as the series regular Catherine Weaver, a liquid metal T-1001 Terminator.
